Ring Sizing Tips
When choosing a ring size
Choosing the correct ring size ensures comfort, wearability, and longevity.
A well-fitting ring should feel secure enough not to slip off, while still being loose enough to pass comfortably over the knuckle without resistance.
If you have access to a professional or plastic ring sizer, this will always provide the most accurate measurement.
Take measurements throughout the day
Finger size naturally changes throughout the day and can be affected by temperature, hydration, and activity. For the most accurate result, measure your finger several times across the day and use an average measurement.
Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold, as fingers tend to be at their smallest.
When in doubt, choose a slightly larger size
It is always safer to choose a ring that is slightly too large rather than too small. A ring that is too tight can become uncomfortable or difficult to remove, particularly in warmer conditions.
Many Jason Jones Jewellery rings can be resized — please refer to the individual product description or contact us before ordering.
Stackable rings
If you are choosing a ring to wear as part of a stack, we recommend selecting one size larger than your usual ring sizefor a more comfortable, relaxed fit when worn with other rings.
Wide band rings
If you are choosing a ring to wear as part of a stack, we recommend selecting one size larger than your usual ring size for a more comfortable, relaxed fit when worn with other rings.
Finding someone else's ring size
Buying a ring as a surprise can be a meaningful gesture. If you are unsure of someone else’s ring size, there are a few discreet ways to find out.
Check there existing Jewellery
Look inside their jewellery box and find a ring they already wear on the same finger. Measure the internal diameter in millimetres using a ruler. Measuring more than one ring can help you make a more accurate estimate.
Use a piece of string
Using a piece of string can be helpful when measuring a partner’s ring size discreetly.
Wrap a thin piece of string gently around their finger, mark where the ends meet, and measure the length in millimetres. JasonJonesJewellery can then convert this measurement into a ring size.
Ask friends or family
Friends or family members may already know your loved one’s ring size or may be able to encourage them to try on similar rings, helping you make an informed choice.

Bangle Sizing Tips

When choosing a bangle size
Choosing the correct bangle size ensures comfort and ease of wear. Bangles should pass smoothly over the hand without resistance, while sitting securely once worn. When selecting a size, always measure the widest part of your hand, not the wrist.
If your measurement falls between sizes, we recommend choosing the slightly larger size.
How to measure your hand for a bangle
1.Bring your thumb across your palm, as if you are putting on a bangle.
2.Using a soft measuring tape or a piece of string, measure around the widest part of your hand.
3.Compare your measurement to the internal diameter guide below.
This method reflects how the bangle will be worn in everyday use.
Take measurements more then once
Hand size can change throughout the day and may be affected by temperature and activity. For best results, take your measurement several times across the day and use an average.
Avoid measuring when your hands are cold, as this can result in choosing a size that feels too tight.
When in doubt, choose a larger size
If you are between sizes, it is always better to select a slightly larger bangle. A bangle that is too small can be difficult or uncomfortable to put on and remove.
Many Jason Jones Jewellery bangles feature organic forms that allow for a small degree of adjustment. Please refer to the individual product description for specific guidance.
Solid VS adjustable bangles
Some bangles are fully solid, while others are designed with gentle flexibility. Solid bangles rely entirely on correct sizing, whereas adjustable styles allow for minor fitting adjustments once worn.
This will always be clearly stated on the product page.
Buying a bangle as a gift
If you are purchasing a bangle as a gift and are unsure of sizing, Medium is often the safest choice. Alternatively, a Gift Card allows the recipient to choose their perfect fit.
